Elchin Babayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijani Presidential Foundation for Science Development, said today that a special award for scientists will be developed together with the national commission at the UNESCO.
The contest of scientists of the Second Shushinsky Grant was announced with the commission on May 2. The first contest saw four projects, two of which were presented abroad. The second will be broader and will include medical sciences.
Privatization of some science enterprises will commercialize them. Babayev added that the process needs European experience.
