Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov has met Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Agriculture Musa Dadayev and discussed damaged caused by floods, the Chechen government reports.
Dadayev noted that areas suffering from floods had been studied and restoration of their infrastructure had begun in the Nojay-Yurtovsky, Vedensky, Itum-Kalinsky, Shatoysky, Shalinsky and Gudermessky Districts. Roads and bridges were the most damaged. 8km of roads towards Dagestan were cleared. Specialists of Nurenergo are restoring power at the Nojay-Yurtovsky District. Water and gas systems are restored in the Vedensky District.
Kadyrov reminded that disasters were happening every year and urged social services to be prepared for them.
