Turkey suspends checkpoint on Syrian border

Turkey has suspended the operation of the Yayladağı checkpoint on the Syrian border, the Sabah newspaper quotes Turkish customs and trade minister Hayati Yazıcı as saying.

The decision was made in order to prevent the possible escape of those responsible for organizing the terrorist attack on Reyhanlı.
