From June 25th to July 25th the USA saw international singing competition, in which Dagestani singer Yulia Pogosova–Emirgamzayeva participated, RIA Novosti reports.
Over 80 singers in the classic genre from 11 countries participated this year. The contest was divided into two parts. The first category, where Pogosova-Emirgamzayeva participated, consisted of classical, folk and traditional music.
The contest was divided into various age categories. Yulia Pogosova won the first place in the contest. She won the right to sing in the Carnegie Hall in October 2010. Her competitors were from China – Xiang jang and Jiang Lee. Each participant in the contest had 5 minutes to perform.
