Turkey's Erdoğan supports alcohol restrictions

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan supports the alcohol restriction law that has recently been passed by the country's parliament, Hürriyet Daily News reports.

“When two drunkards make a law, you respect it. But when we make a law for something that faith orders, you reject it. Why?” Prime Minister Erdoğan is quoted by Hürriyet Daily News as saying today.

“If religion orders something, will you object anyway?” the prime minister added.
