Turkey and Israel have stopped discussing compensations to families whose relatives were killed on the Freedom Flotilla.
The sides had two meetings and made preliminary agreements. Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Firudin Sinirlioglu and Israeli prime minister’s envoy Joseph Chekhanover could not find common grounds on the sum of compensations Israel must pay, CNN Turk reports.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the incident in March, starting normalization of relations.
