A delegation of the US Congress arrives in Tbilisi on the 1st of August. A meeting has been scheduled for the 2nd of August, reports IPN.
The delegation members are to meet representatives from the US embassy and the parliamentary majority and minority parties. They are also to meet Georgy Baramidze, Minister for Integration, Giga Bokeria, First Deputy Foreign Minister, Eka Tkeshelashvili, National Security Secretary, David Bakradze, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Temur Yakobashvili, State Minister for Reintegration, Vakhtang Lezhava, Prime-Ministerial Advisor, Tina Burjaliani, Deputy Minister of Justice, Eka Zguladze, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Dmitry Shashkin, Minister of Education, Nikolay Vashakidze and Nodar Kharshiladze, Deputy Defense Ministers, as well as representatives of non-govermental organizations and the non-parliamentary opposition.
The visit will last seven days.
