Turkish Prime Minister meets with Chief of General Staff

 

The upcoming session of the Supreme Military Council in Ankara, resolving promotions and retirements, has drawn attention. The day before the session Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayip Erdogan, and Ilker Basbug, Chief of the General Staff of the armed forces, had a working meeting. It lasted two and a half hours and no statements were made after it, reports TRT.
