Arsen Kanokov, the president of Kabardino-Balkaria, has called on militants not smeared with blood to return to a peaceful life, the presidental press office told RIA-Novosti on Friday.
"There will be no mercy for those who have stained themselves with blood. They will be eliminated or brought to trial. Those who are with militants but haven't killed somebody have a chance to return to peaceful life," he claimed, "they said they are not fighting civilians, but their recent actions, like the bombing of the Baksanskaya hydroelectric station, have revealed their true intentions, they want to drag the republic into chaos and disorder," he added. Kanokov also called on the Spiritual Governance for Muslims to enforce its work.
