Turkish PM confirms police abused power on Taksim Square

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has confirmed that the police forces abused their power as they used gas over protesters gathered on Istanbul's Taksim Square, Anadolu reports.

The activists were protesting against the demolition of Gezi Park. The police violently broke up the rally.
