Protest rallies continue in Turkey. According to the country's interior minister Muammer Guller, protest actions are being held in 48 out of 81 Turkish provinces.
One thousand people have already been detained ad 79 injured in the clashes, the minister said at a press conference. Among those injured during the events were 26 police officers.
The most massive rallies are being held in Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya and Izmir.
The campaign started after the authorities announced plans to demolish the Gezi park. The decision was suspended by a local court after the first massive rally that was held in Istanbul on Friday.
