Georgian foreign minister to visit US

Georgian Foreign Minister Maya Panjikidze will attend a meeting organized by the US Embassy to mark the Independence Day of Georgia in the US.

She will meet US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Erik Rubin, visit the Congress, Senate and the National Security Council.

Panjikidze will visit New York tomorrow to meet UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and discuss security and demarcation of South Ossetian borders, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania said.
