US Secretary of State John Kerry met Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov at the American Jewish Committee, Trend reports.
Kerry emphasized that Azerbaijan was an essential partner of the US and had discussed the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry noted that the US was a strategic partner of Azerbaijan and will cooperate in resolving the conflict.
