Russia, the United States and the United Nations have failed to reach an agreement on a possible international conference devoted to the Syrian crisis. The parties seem unable to find a possible format of the event.
The issue will be discussed again on June 25, the UN and Arab League Special Representative for Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, says.
Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov told RIA Novosti that the talks had been a success anyway. "We can say that we made some progress and are moving in the right direction," he said.
