Georgia has conditions for improvement of relations with Russia

 

Georgia emphasized that it could not improve relations with Russia as long as its embassies were present in South Ossetia and Abkhazia. A country cannot have three embassies in Georgia at the same time, Georgia Online reports.

Georgia demands Russia to leave the territories occupied, according to agreements signed in August and September 2008.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and Georgian special envoy of prime minister Zurab Abashidze met in Prague yesterday. They discussed restoration of regular ground and air connections. The Verkhny Lars – Kazbegi checkpoint was launched on June 1.
