The Yeni Azerbaijan Party has introduced President Ilham Aliyev for re-election at the Buta Palace during the 5th conference in Baku, APA reports.
Mehriban Aliyev, First Lady of Azerbaijan, Akif Alizade, President of the National Academy of Sciences, Ali Gasanov, Vice Prime Minister and head of the State Committee for Refugees and Forced migrants, have become deputy heads of the ruling party. Ali Ahmedov remains the deputy head of Yeni Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan will have presidential polls on October 16.
