Dzhokhar Dudayev's son is accused of forging Lithuanian passports

Kaunas City District Court is considering a case, in which Degi Dudayev, the son of the former President of Ichkeria, Dzhohar Dudayev, is accused, along with three other persons.
The hearing has been adjourned: it turned out that Dudayev Jr. has not received the Russian translation of the indictment. Although he claims to understand some Lithuanian, it is decided that the court cannot take place in a situation where the defendant is not familiar with the charges.

Dudayev, together with three other people, is accused of forging passports of the Republic of Lithuania. He is also charged with possession of drugs.

"I did not do anything wrong, because people who face a threat, for whom it is not safe to live in the Caucasus, have decided to move to Europe with their families and children," the defendant said, noting that the passports found by the officials were arranged for two families that Dudayev Jr. knew personally, "Interfax" reports.
