The Georgian Security Council will have an unscheduled meeting at 6.00 pm today to discuss attacks on Georgian soldiers in Afghanistan and threats from terrorists, Trend reports.
7 Georgian soldiers were killed and 9 injured in an a terrorist attack in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan on June 6. A video was posted on YouTube before the attack, depicting terrorists threatening to Georgian soldiers, their families and president.
All ministers and Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili will attend the meeting.
