Mayor of Batumi resigns from office

Mayor of Batumi Dzhemal Ananidze has resigned from office. The statement was made at the last meeting of the City Council. No information concerning the official's resignation has been reported so far.

Ananidze was elected mayor of Batumi in October 2012. Previously he served as the deputy mayor of the city.
