The Ingush office of the ruling United Russia party has held primary elections for the republic's head. Three people have been nominated as candidates from the ruling party.
Among them are incumbent head of the republic Yunus-bek Yevkurov, chairman of the People's Assembly of Ingushetia Mukharbek Didigok and deputy chairman of assembly Ruslan Gagiyev, ITAR-TASS reports.
According to the Ingush law, the head of the republic is elected by the Ingush parliament from the candidates submitted by political parties and approved by the Russian President.
