British PM to visit Kazakhstan

 

British Prime Minister David Cameron will visit Kazakhstan on June 30 to discuss petroleum developments, Trend cites Altay Abibullayev, spokesman of the Kazakh presidential communication service.

It will be the first visit of a British prime minister to Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The PM was invited by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev at a meeting within the framework of the Olympic Games in London in 2012.

Nazarbayev and Cameron will visit Atyrau and have talks on July 1. They will discuss security of Central Asia, peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan and petroleum problems.
