The Russian and Azerbaijani chiefs of the two states' respective presidential administrations, Sergey Naryshkin and Ramiz Mekhtiev, met today in Baku to discuss issues of the forthcoming Second Russian-Azerbaijani Humanitarian Cooperation Forum, ITAR-TASS informs.

The Forum is due to be held in 2011 in Azerbaijan to strengthen the traditions of friendship and partnership between the two countries.

"Russia and Azerbaijan share the same perspective on their common history and are ready to resist those who try to misrepresent it," Naryshkin said. He added that Russia as a multi-ethnic country is interested in Azerbaijani experience of solving national problems.

The Forum is planned to be held annually on Azerbaijani territory.
