Alexander Khorujy, head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies in North Ossetia, has been promoted to Major-General, the ministry reports.
Khorujy was born in the CIASSR in 1964. He graduated at the Orjonikidzevskoye Higher Missile Command School of Air Defenses named after Army General Pliyev as a specialist of command tactical exploitation of radio equipment. He became the head of the directorate in June 2012.
