The press service of the Russian government denies media reports saying that the prime minister has accepted the resignation of Vladimir Yakunin, the president of the Russian Railways.
Natalya Timakova, the spokesperson for Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, told Ekho Moskvy that no such thing has taken place.
The press service of the Russian Railways public corporation also says Yakunin has not submitted his resignation to the cabinet.
