Georgia to take part in Sochi Olypmics

Georgia will take part in the Sochi Olympic Games in 2014, vice president of the Georgian National Olympic Committee Elgudzha Berishvili says.

The former Georgian government said it would boycott  the games due to continuing conflict with Russia over the breakaway republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Incumbent Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili has always been saying that this position should be reconsidered.
