Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met today with His German counterpart Guido Westerwelle at the Friends of Syria conference held in Doha, Qatar.
"The meeting was very successful. The officials exchanged their views on biltaral relations and Turkey's integration into the EU," RIA Novosti cites the German foreign ministry as saying.
The meeting followed recent statements by top German officials concerning protests in Turkish cities. Germany criticized the Turkish government's harsh stance on the protesters.
