Georgia concerned about barbed wire

In the course of the next round of Geneva talks, Georgia will voice its concern and protest against the installation of barbed wire along the borders of the separatist regions of Georgia, Trend quotes the Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, David Djalagania.

The 24th round of Geneva talks will be held on June 25-26. The Georgian delegation will be led by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, David Zalkaliani.

According to Zalkaliani, this time Georgia intends to raise the issue of security in the separatist regions of Georgia.

The territories of South Ossetia and Abkhazia have been recongnized by Russia as independent states, but Georgia continues to consider them parts of its sovereign territory.
