The parliament of Dagestan has stripped the deputy of the People's Assembly of the Republic, Magomed Magomedov, of office.
"The deputies voted for the deprivation of office of Magomed Magomedov,and as MP from the Khunzakhski region," the representative of the People's Assembly of the Republic, Ulluby Erbolatov said, ITAR-TASS reported.
Magomed Magomedov was arrested today during a break in the session. As part of a criminal case currently under investigation he is suspected of aiding members of illegal armed groups.
