Georgia, Armenia to introduce system of joint border control

The Ambassador of Armenia in Georgia, Grach Silvanyan, and the Minister of Finance of Georgia, Kakha Baindurashvili, have discussed the issues of the realisation of the decisions of the 8th Armenian-Georgian Inter-Governmental Commission for Economic Collaboration.

The parties discussed plans to introduce a system of integrated control over their common borders. This is intended to help in the fight against human trafficking and illegal migration.
