Taksim Square protests reemerge, now against cruelty of authorities

Last night Istanbul's Taksim Square was once again filled with thousands of disgruntled citizens of Turkey, who this time were demonstrating against the brutality of the authorities against the opposition. In particular, the protesters expressed their dissatisfaction with the actions of the security forces during Friday's action in Lice in southeastern Turkey, where one of the participants in clashes with the police was shot.

The demo was completely peaceful. Two hours after the demo began, the police began to push the protesters from the square, announcing the allocated time for the action was over, and they left the area without resistance. About ten people were detained.
