The Georgian Ministry for Corrections and Legal Assistance said that 23,404 convicts had been pardoned on June 30, 2012, and 9,402 on June 30, 2013.
Two were released on June 28-30. 8706 were released on June 30, 2013, including 175 political convicts, 432 women and 25 under-aged.
