State Duma's committee for science condemns project of Academy of Sciences' reform

The State Duma's committee for science and technologies condemned today the project of the reform of the Russian Academy of Sciences suggested by the country's government.

The committee advised the lawmakers to reject the bill.

According to the project, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences were expected to be united in one body governed by the federal authorities.
