Mohsin Pakayin, Iranian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan, said that the Aslanduz-Goradiz checkpoint on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border was ready to open soon, Trend reports.
Aslanduz is located in the Ardebil Province of Iran. It has about a 100-km border with Azerbaijan. There are five checkpoints: Julfi, Shakhta, Astara, Bilyasuvar, Imishli. A customs office in Goradiz is unoperational.
