Alexander Khloponin, Russian Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the NCFD, will visit Abkhazia today and observe facilities restored under Russian financial assistance in Sukhumi.
Khloponin will meet Abkhaz President Alexander Ankvab and discuss socio-economic relations. An investment program for socio-economic development of the republic for 2013-2015 is expected to be passed.
The Abkhaz Ministry for Finances and the Russian Ministry for Regional Development will sign an agreement on financial assistance for realization of the investment program.
Khloponin’s visit will be concluded with a visit to the Abkhaz Drama Theater named after S. Chanba and the Russian Drama Theater.
