The terrorist Doku Umarov may be on the territory of Chechnya and must be neutralized before he goes into hiding, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov said at a meeting with the heads of the law-enforcement structures in Grozny.
Kadyrov said that Umarov may be in the Achkhoy-Martanov, Urus-Martanov or Suzhen regions, RIA Novosti reports.
Kadyrov said that Umarov has serious health problems, he is rotting alive and has lost all his teeth. The president did not exclude that Umarov may blow himself up, like all gravely ill terrorists.
He also noted that neutralizing Aslambek Vadalov should not be a problem. Kadyrov noted that, according to information received, the members of the illegal armed formations have serious financial problems.
The president ordered all forests to be divided into sections, with a specific person appointed to take responsibility for the search in a sector. He also proposed that the police patrol the streets wearing civilian clothes more often.
Kadyrov expressed discontent with neighborhood inspectors. He ordered the authorities of the Interior Ministry to constantly check on their work.
