A new training centre for the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps is going to be established on the Caspian shore in the northern province of Gilan. The centre will be named after Imam Khomeini, Iran News cites the Fars news agency.
The project is a part of a large-scale strategy adopted by the Islamic Republic for the development of the northern regions, Captain Asgar Shokrollahi is quoted as saying.
