Russian Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasian Federal District Alexander Khloponin visited Abkhazia and inspected development of its social field, infrastructure and economy. Vladimir Delba, Abkhaz Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Finances, and Vadim Malinin, Russian Deputy Minister for Regional Development, signed a deal in Sukhumi to grant Abkhazia financial aid for budget investments for realization of the investment program for socio-economic development of 2013-2015, Apsnypress reports.
They also passed the order of forming and realizing the investment program. Both the order and the program were signed by Leonid Lakerbaya, Abkhaz Prime Minister, and Khloponin.
Abkhaz President Alexander Ankvab said at a two-hour meeting with Khloponin that the sides developed optimal measures for successful work in the future.
Khloponin expressed satisfaction with the rate of resource exploitation Russia provides. He noted that the investment program should be formed in 3 years.
