Vote on new US ambassador to Azerbaijan put off

The United States Senate Foreign Relations Committee has postponed a vote for the appointment of Mathew Bryza as US ambassador to Azerbaijan in response to a request by Senator Barbara Boxer

The date of the next vote will be set by the Chairman of the Committee, Senator John Kerry.
