Russia publishes information about its oil and gas resources

The Russian Ministry for Natural Resources has published information concerning its oil and gas resources that has previously been secret.

Minister Sergey Donskoy is quoted as saying that Russia has 17 billion 800 million tons of oil and 48 trillion 800 billion cubic metres of gas, according to the ABC1 category, and 10 billion 900 million tons of oil and 19 trillion 600 billion cubic metres of gas, according to the C2 category.
