Turkey is a critical ally in the region for the US, envoy says

US envoy to Europe Victoria Nuland said yesterday that the United States alliance and relationship with Turkey is extremely important for the North-American nation, Hürriyet Daily News reports.

According to Nuland, the US-Turkish alliance “is critical not only for the Eurasian space but also in all the work that we’re doing now in the Middle East and North Africa,” the news agency informs.
