Information about new nuclear site in Iran cannot be entirely false, expert says

The information concerning construction of a new nuclear site 10 km from Demavend published by the opposition National Council of the Iranian Resistance Movement cannot be entirely false, Vladimir Sazhin believes.

The reports have already been denied by the head of the press service of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Arakchi. "This information is false, we deny these reports," he said.

A member of the Institute for Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladimir Sazhin underlines that it was the Iranian opposition that in 2002 found out that the Islamic Republic had launched its nuclear project.

These reports raise serious concerns, he says.
