Turkey and Azerbaijan reached a consensus, experts say

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is now on an official visit to Azerbaijan. He has already met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mamedyarov and the country's President Ilham Aliyev.  The parties have stressed that bilateral relations are friendly and that mutual cooperation is developing in various fields.

Associate professor at the Ankara University of Economics and Technologies, Togrul Ismail, told VK that Azerbaijan and Turkey are very close allies, the two states have reached a consensus in all spheres and they have nothing to argue about.

The recent decision made by the Shakh Deniz consortium to use the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline instead of Nabucco shows that the two countries are devoted to bilateral cooperation. "There are no political controversies between the two nations," the expert said.

The Turkish expert's opinion is shared by Azerbaijani lawmaker and political analyst Rasim Musabekov. According to him, Davutoglu's visit proves how successful bilateral relations are.
