Turkey has concluded month-long tests of the Altay tank, Trend reports.
The SSM of the Turkish Defense Ministry and Otokar signed a contract for development of the tank in spring 2007. 250 tanks will be manufactured for $5.5 million each. The project is worth $500 million.
Turkey fulfills 54% of demand for defenses using national manufacturers.
