Abdulatipov sacks government of Dagestan

Today, the acting Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov sacked the government of the republic.

Such a decision, he explained, was taken because he was not satisfied with the work of the Cabinet. "The work of the government is inefficient. Orders of the head of the republic have not been executed, the work on priority investment projects has not been completed," Interfax quoted Ramazan Abdulatipov.

He noted, however, that some ministers will keep their portfolios.

The first deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Karibov has been appointed the acting head of the Cabinet. Other members of the government were asked to perform their duties until the formation of a new Cabinet.

The current Cabinet has worked for a little less than six months, the previous government resigned on January 30 this year with the departure of Magomedsalam Magomedov, and the formation of a new government began the following day, with Mukhtar Medzhidov appointed as the head of the Cabinet.
