The United States is preparing another series of economic sanctions against Iran. The sanctions will target the Iranian oil, mining and construction industries. The sanctions are expected to stop Iran from exporting its oil by 2015.
The bill may be approved by the House of Representatives by the end of the month. In this case the Senate will be able to discuss the bill in September.
The initiative is not supported by the Obama administration, which believes that no hostile acts are appropriate before the coming inauguration of newly-elected Iranian president Hassan Rouhani.
