No Russia-Georgia rapprochement while Saakashvili in office - Medvedev



“Georgia is responsible for breaking ties, not Russia”, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said after his meeting with South African President Jacob Zuma. “Normal relations are not possible during [Mikheil] Saakashvili’s presidency. They could only be re-established when another president is inaugurated”, he said. He also added that leaders of other countries in informal talks recognized Georgian aggression against South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
