A delegation of Russian officials, youth activists, students and public figures has recently visited the Azerbaijani ministry of sports and youth affairs. Members of the delegation met with Azerbaijani deputy minister of sports Intigam Babayev.
The Azerbaijani official stressed the success of the government's policy towards the youth.
Deputy head of the University of Moscow's Centre for Information and Analysis Alexander Karavayev believes the two countries are ready to enhance their cultural ties. He says the two nations have launched many joint projects in the humanitarian sphere.
He believes that joint scientific conferences and workshops are very important for promoting Russian-Azerbaijani bilateral ties and the atmosphere of friendship and cooperation.
