Turkish opposition leader meets parents of killed Gezi protesters

The head of Turkey's opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), Kemal Kiliçdaroğlu, met on Friday with the families of two teenagers killed during the Gezi Park protests in the southern province of Hatay, Hürriyet Daily News cites the Doğan agency as saying.

Kiliçdaroğlu first met with the parents of Abdullah Cömert, who was killed after being hit by a tear gas canister during protests in Antakya. The politician assured Cömert's family that his party was closely following the legal case and would ensure that justice would be done.
Kiliçdaroğlu also met with the parents of Ali Ismail Korkmaz, who died after being beaten by stick-wielding civilians in Eskişehir, the news agency informs.
