Two militants have been killed in the Kurchaloy region of Chechnya, the press-service of the president and government of Chechnya reported, citing the Interior Minister of the republic, Ruslan Alkhanov.
According to Alkhanov, a special operation was carried out between the populated localities of Akhkinchu-Borzoy and Yalkhoy-Mokh, where the militants were found. They were killed after refusing to surrender. They have been named as Khasan Magomadov and Umar Charayev, who had been involved in shooting members of the law-enforcment agencies. None of the law-enforcers were injured, guns and ammunition were found at the scene.
