Ali Gasanov, head of the socio-political section of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, emphasized that the presidential polls will be fair and clear. He noted that the OSCE, EU and Council of Europe will monitor the elections, Trend reports.
The official said that political parties were a guarantee of the country’s future and democracy. Azerbaijani officials are having consultations in the OSCE to prepare for the elections.
Gasanov pointed out the role of mass media, as the basis for information of people and a means of perceiving events. He reminded that Azerbaijani National Leader Ilham Aliyev had lifted censorship in mass media.
